Companionship

Senior residents would require the presence of a companion at different times of the day to assist them in writing for correspondence, engage them in conversations, and supervise them during exercises. Companion caregivers stay beside residents to provide motivation and emotional support, especially when seniors are feeling down or lonely.

Companions also ensure that aside from the routine checks performed in rooms and social spaces, they maintain the safety of these areas by eliminating potential hazards that would cause accidents in seniors.
